【Kashiwanoha Campus】 [Autonomous Driving Demonstration Experiment] Medium-sized autonomous bus
In August 2025, as a member of the "RoAD to the L4" Theme 4 Consortium (CooL4), a joint project of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, we conducted a demonstration experiment of an autonomous driving bus (medium-sized bus) on public roads (mixed spaces) around Kashiwanoha Campus in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture. We obtained approval from the Kanto Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as a Level 4 autonomous driving vehicle under the Road Transport Vehicle Act.
