【Daytime and nighttime autonomous driving mobility services】 Autonomous driving demonstration
In Sumoto City, Hyogo Prefecture, we implemented a comprehensive autonomous mobility service trial from November 14 to December 14, 2025. Designed to balance the needs of local residents and the tourism industry, the project operated across two distinct routes. During the day, the shuttle provided an essential lifeline connecting the city center with the aging Yura district, improving accessibility for elderly citizens. At night, the service transitioned into a tourism booster, linking the vibrant downtown area with the Sumoto Onsen district.
